In my day-to-day life I am a rule follower -- a color within the lines kind of girl. But in my twelve years as a writer, I've discovered my inner rule-breaker. Now I write what I want, when I want. I write dark, I write light and go wherever my characters take me. I'm not afraid to explore the dark underbelly of life and, in the process, explore the cracks in my own psyche.

I decided early on that if I was going to follow this crazy writing path, I would always write what was true to me -- that I would "go there" no matter what.

That I would always be fearless.
